- ➤ Grocery stores in Cumberland County will have shortened hours on Christmas Eve and be closed on Christmas Day. Shoppers planning for Christmas should check specific times (for example, Aldi is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.) at their local stores. The Fayetteville Observer
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ County and state officials met Friday morning at E.E. Smith High School to plan steps for reducing traffic-related deaths after a crash killed three students. They expect to use grants and local partnerships to improve road safety across Cumberland County. ABC 11
