- ➤ Fayetteville and Cumberland County are inviting residents to nominate teachers who make learning possible. The program, sponsored by Smith Douglas Homes, will showcase honorees in the local paper and consider them for national awards with cash prizes—$5,000 for Teacher of the Month and $10,000 for Teacher of the Year.
