- ➤ Yesterday, Maj. Gen. Brandon Tegtmeier took command of the 82nd Airborne Division at Fort Bragg—succeeding Maj. Gen. James 'Pat' Work, who led the unit since November—and the ceremony marked a new chapter for the division as it prepares for its future tasks. ABC 11

HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Methodist University and Cape Fear Valley Health plan a new medical school in Fayetteville to ease the local doctor shortage, with the first class of 64 students set to start in July pending accreditation in October.
