- ➤ Today, the Airborne & Special Operations Museum celebrates its 25th anniversary and National Airborne Day with a ceremony honoring the 250th anniversary of the Liberty Tree and featuring colonial-era activities, military demonstrations and live music. - ➤ Cumberland County Schools banned cellphone use in classrooms starting Aug 13 to help students focus on learning — the district said staff will give warnings and then confiscate devices if they are not put away, and families are asked to call the school office for urgent matters.
