- ➤ Fayetteville police officer Jacob Edwards Jones, 24, was arrested June 18 on six counts of misdemeanor sexual battery after he allegedly molested a woman while reviewing surveillance footage from a May 13 call on Bragg Boulevard—he was terminated immediately and his bail was set at $25,000.
