- ➤ Authorities reported that a North Carolina man was arrested in Boston on Friday for his alleged role in the March 8th shooting death of a Fayetteville father in the 300 block of Pebble Street—39-year-old Shawn Antonio Davis faces first-degree murder charges. ABC 11
- ➤ A Fayetteville man is charged with first-degree murder after he fatally shot Reginald Lorenzo Bullard on May 9 on Starbrook Drive following an interpersonal dispute—he is also charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and is held in Cumberland County Jail. - ➤ Fayetteville police said 35-year-old Shateva McQueen was killed at around 2:30 a.m. on Cedar Creek Road near Grove Street in a single-vehicle crash on May 21. The Fayetteville Observer

- ➤ Major grocery chains have recalled cucumbers and related products after a salmonella outbreak sickened 26 people in 15 states, including North Carolina, following an FDA notice on May 19—warning shoppers about produce grown by Bedner Growers from Florida.
