- ➤ Fayetteville Young Life hosts Paddle Battle, an open Pickleball Tournament at 725 W. Rowan St in Rowan Park on Saturday, May 16. - ➤ Rock’n On the River returns as a free, family-friendly concert series along the Cape Fear River at Deep Creek Outfitters (1122 Person St.), with shows starting May 15 at 6 p.m. and continuing on the third Friday of each month throughout the summer. Up & Coming Weekly
- ➤ Sponsored by Book Black Women Inc (and 1910 Wine Nest), The Golden Hour is a silent dance event set for May 16 at the Executive Room, 230 Donaldson St from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Tickets cost $25 and guests must register to secure one of fifty headphone spots. Up & Coming Weekly
