- ➤ The Cumberland County Council on Older Adults is hosting a volunteer appreciation event this month to honor nearly 200 volunteers whose 6,000+ service hours help seniors stay safe and independent. - ➤ The six-year Gates Four Summer Concert Series returns on April 23 at 7 p.m. at Gates Four Country Club (6775 Irongate Dr.) and will offer free live music in a family-friendly outdoor setting, thanks to local partners. Up & Coming Weekly
- ➤ Fayetteville welcomes the inaugural Camellia Camerata Chamber Music Festival beginning May 1 at noon at ArtsXL Building on Burgess St. The three-day festival will feature free concerts, workshops + master classes and performances from national, regional, and local musicians. Up & Coming Weekly
- ➤ FTCC ComicCon is scheduled for Saturday, April 25 at the Tony Rand Student Center where students and local artists will join guests like Chris Giarusso (of G-Man) for comics, cosplay contests, and creative workshops.
