- ➤ On Saturday night, a driver fled after hitting a pedestrian on North Reilly Road at Telfair Drive; officers arrived around 8:45 p.m. and the victim was taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center where they died — police are investigating and have not yet identified the driver. WRAL
- ➤ Police reported that around 5 p.m. yesterday a man died at the College Lakes Recreation Center off Rosehill Road after being shot, and they are investigating the incident as a homicide — no motive has been determined. WRAL
- ➤ A man was killed in a shooting at College Lakes Recreation Center on Rosehill Road Sunday, April 13—officers found him with a gunshot wound and pronounced him dead—while police investigate the incident. The Fayetteville Observer
