- ➤ An $11 million water line project (installing over 3 miles of pipe) is 60% complete and will supply safe water to Gray’s Creek and Alderman Road Elementary along N.C. 87 this summer. The state funds the project to replace contaminated wells. CityView
- ➤ Fayetteville and Cumberland County residents have voiced strong opposition to proposed data center projects—citing high energy and water use, environmental impact and potential utility rate hikes.
