Chelsea Guo | Soprano & Piano

About this event

The Arts Council of Moore County is proud to present soprano & pianist Chelsea Guo in our 26-27 Classical Concert Series. A recent graduate of The Juilliard School, Chelsea has quickly established an international presence with performances across North America, Europe & Asia. Since her historic win in the 2022 Young Concert Artists Susan Wadsworth International Auditions—the first artist honored as both pianist & vocalist—she has appeared at Italy’s Fazioli Piano Festival, Spain’s Sociedad Filarmónica de A Coruña, Germany’s Moritzburg Festival, & at venues such as Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, & The Kennedy Center. At San Diego’s 2023 Mainly Mozart Festival, she drew praise for her versatility, appearing as soprano soloist & two nights later as piano soloist.

This is the second of four chamber music concerts in the Classical Concert Series at the Sunrise Theater. The rest of the series features the Chrysalis Chamber Players (10/19/26), Texas Guitar Quartet (2/22/27), and violinist Lun Li (3/22/27). CCS' season sponsor is Lin Hutaff's Pinehurst Realty, with additional sponsorships from Brownback & Thomasson CPAs, Philip Bailey & Charles Schwab, Vivian R. Jacobson, Nature's Own, Sandhills Community College Fine Arts Dept., and The Jefferson Inn of Southern Pines.

Individual tickets to this concert will only be sold online at $39 per person (+tax). Online ticket sales begin on September 19, 2026 and end at noon on October 19, 2026. Tickets will be available for purchase at the door only if the concert is not sold out. Learn more at www.MooreArt.org/CCS .
